Make Up Review:Revlon PhotoReady Two Way Foundation

Hey girls, missed my make up review? Here you go! Finally, I was able to afford this expensive two way foundation from Revlon called PhotoReady. Prior to using this, I was faithful and loyal user of Maybelline Products for almost 3 years. I was using Maybelline Clear Smooth All in One Shine Free Cake powder (04 Honey) but it seems that it wasn't working well for me anymore. I wasn't shine free for longer and it frustrates me. So I decided I needed a change.

I bought Revlon PhotoReady Two Way Foundation after a couple of months saving and reading reviews. After mixing and matching the shades to my skin tone, I choose Natural Beige (005).

Product Description:

Revlon PhotoReady Two Way Powder Foundation SPF 19 provides a poreless airbrushed appearance and contains photo chromatic pigments that help erase flaws. This pressed powder foundation contains SPF 19 which prevents sun damage on your skin. Oil free and fragrance free, the Two-Way Powder Foundation can be applied wet, giving a fuller coverage and dry, for a softer coverage or touch up. The professionally designed formula gives an appearance of flawless skin under the harshest light, whether under indoor fluorescent lighting or full outdoor sunlight.

After two weeks of usage, I can definitely say that I made the right choice. I have an oily skin so my number one concern is its staying power. True enough, Revlon PhotoReady Two Way Foundation has a descent staying power that lasts for more than four hours, depending on your daily activity. In my case, I work during graveyard with minimal sun exposure and rigorous movement resulting to five more hours of staying power. It also has a matte finish, perfect for either light, medium or full coverage that will surely cover pores, redness, mild blemishes and even under eye area.

What I also love about this product is its finely milled and no chalky particles when used. The package per se is very light, slim, compact and stylish that comes with a matte black finish with a wide mirror and separate sponge area with a perforated bottom.

Here are my before and after pictures:

Sans Make Up

No primer, concealer nor anything applied on my face, just Revlon PhotoReady Two Way Foundation

Me, dolled up version. Just light coverage with eye shadow, mascara, cheek tint and lipstick on.

Now I'm always photo ready, Yay! And oh, by the way, it may also be used on a wet sponge though I haven't tried it.

I did some research, on Revlon's website,  PhotoReady Two Way Foundation is not featured anymore (will still dig more and research if they are still manufacturing or whatnot) but as of the moment, I believe you may still grab it in any department store  for only 995 Pesos.

Share me your thoughts, suggestions, questions, experience or any Revlon PhotoReady Two Way Foundation related concerns and I will gladly respond.
