Like last month, my partner and I were busy on wedding preparations and thank God we are almost 70% complete. I don't know if it's because of work and wedding preparation, but I feel extra tired these days and a lot of people are noticing that I significantly lose weight. For the record, I was not on a diet or anything and it bothers me. Highlight of this month, my partner and I purchased our very first "mature" investment. *wink*

Lomograpika: Monica's Little Miss Sunshine Themed Pre and 1st Birthday

Lomograpika Design Studio captures not only weddings and corporate events but irecently venturied to Kiddie Parties. Our first client is a family friend and former colleagues, Din and Beejay Bautista. On June 24, 2016, their little bundle of joy, Dareen Monica is born. This year, we celebrate her 1st birthday.

Her theme was Little Miss Sunshine (I kinda expected it since her Mom loves the color yellow, LOL). We had her pre-birthday shoot at their condo unit, all props were DIY-ed by her Mom and Dad (such creatives).

Her 1st birthday party was held couple of weeks later at Dad's World Buffet, Glorietta 3 attended by close friends and relatives.

Two Cents

Phew, we were so busy this month (and the coming months) that I almost forgot to make an entry. Our days were mostly consisted of wedding related preparations and damn, it's really exhausting. Highlight for this month: my partner and I's Anniversary. Instead of dining in a fancy restaurant or traveling, we spent our anniversary attending a bridal/wedding fair. HAHAHA. Memorable day indeed for we bought our wedding rings the day of our anniversary.

I had the honor to cover for Red Ninja Production's 8th Year Anniversary gig on behalf of Pinoy Secret Files. April 22, 2017 marks another date in the calendar where we heard great music and felt good vibes by a music production that has been in the scene for 8 long years already. Age may be just a number for Red Ninja Productions, 8 years is another success along their path.

Red Ninja Productions has been in the local music scene with the country's top indie bands performing in different bars all over the metro. Celebrating their 8th year, Red Ninja Productions held their birthday at B-Side, The Collective at Malugay Makati with performances by:

Audiophile: Rakrakan Festival 2017 (OPM Against Drugs)

This year, I chose to spend my birthday working and having fun as well. Pinoy Secret Files was chosen as one of the Community Partner for this year's Rakrakan Festival together with Rakista Radio. With 100 bands in 5 different stages, this music event rocked the start of the new year! Having a theme of "OPM against drugs", Rakrakan Festival proved that rockstars are not just rockstars who wants to create and share their music.

When labeling a person as a Rakista, one of the impressions is that they only listen to hard, heavy, growling music and often tagged into drugs. In this event, Rakrakan Festival together with Rakista Radio and the numerous bands who are in line with their support against drug use showed that not all Rakistas are what people think they are.

Having 5 different stages namely: Move, Indie, Mosh, Slam and Groove, each stage caters different music genre.

At first, one would theoretically think that it would be impossible for five stages to be in line with one another without the sounds being jumbled all together. But kudos to the sound and stage engineers for doing a great job in building a 5-stage event that doesn't have scatter noises all over!

Since the event is themed against the use of drugs, guess who is their guest for the night? Of course, it's none other than PNP Chief Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa.
